Who I am

Patrycja Bober received her Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from the Faculty of Science of Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic in 2013. She did postdoctoral work at the Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland. Since 2019, she is the Head of the Department of Conducting Polymers at the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Her research activity deals with the preparation of conducting polymers and their composites with organic and inorganic materials, by chemical or electrochemical polymerization regarding the control of polymer morphology and high electrical conductivity. Her team cooperates with several research groups both in the Czech Republic and abroad (Austria, Serbia, Finland, Slovakia, Singapore, etc.).
