I graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology at University of Milan, with a PhD in Industrial Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. My research mainly focus on the production, characterization, and applications of nanocellulose obtained from virgin and waste sources, combined with the synthesis of nanostructured organic materials based on cellulose used in water remediation, sensing, and heterogeneous catalysis, collaborating with various national and international research groups. Currently, I hold a position as a Junior Assistant Professor in the. Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, conducting my research within the PNRR RETURN project, which aims to address the challenges of climate change from different perspectives.
